Modest Hair Braiding | Salon Policies & Safety

1. Booking & Payments

  • Appointments: Advanced booking is required. Please arrive on time; arrivals more than 15 minutes late may require rescheduling.

  • Deposits: A non-refundable $30 deposit is required for certain services.

  • Payments: Full payment is due immediately after service via Cash, Zelle, Cash App, or Card.

  • Cancellations: 24-hour notice is required for all cancellations to avoid fees or loss of deposit.

2. Client Preparation & Conduct

  • Hair Prep: Arrive with hair clean, dry, and fully detangled (unless wash is included). Fees apply for extra prep.

  • Children: Must remain calm and seated for safety. Services may be declined if a child cannot sit still.

  • Belongings: The salon is not responsible for lost or misplaced items.

3. Safety Protocols

  • Hot Water Safety: You must remain completely still during the hot-water dipping process. Do not move your head or reach for towels until instructed to avoid severe burns.

  • Styling Tools: Avoid sudden movements while scissors, needles, or heat tools are in use.

  • Health: Please reschedule if you are feeling sick. No extra guests are allowed unless pre-approved.


Hair Service & Complaint Policy

All clients are kindly advised that any concerns or complaints regarding hair services must be reported within 72 hours (3 days) after the appointment.

Please note that no refunds will be issued under any circumstances. If a retouch is requested, an additional fee will apply, and the cost will depend on the hairstyle and the level of damage or adjustment required.
